Our story

You might be wondering, why "Unkown Jake?" That was Jacob's Instagram handle, and we thought it was fitting to use it for this tournament, misspelling and all. The foundation we are starting in his name will be hosting a 3 by jamboree on Saturday November 30th, 2024, in honor of Jacob Eshenbaugh, who passed away on May 23, 2024. As a child, he tried many sports, but lacrosse was the one that he loved most and he played for most of his life. He usually was the smallest player on the field but was not intimidated by anyone, no matter how much larger they were. Throughout the years, he played for Shoreline Lacrosse, North Seattle Lacrosse and CitySide Lacrosse.   

All money raised from this tournament will go toward the foundation. The foundation’s mission will be to provide summer camp access to youth and families who would not otherwise have the financial means to attend. Scholarships for youth to attend lacrosse camps will be provided through the Foundation.  ​
